>Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura was the center of media coverage at the beginning of July for rumors he may run for U.S. Senate. On July 14, Ventura officially announced he would not try for the Senate. What do you think about his decision?

Philosophy and French sophomore Danielle Stonionis met Ventura at a Tom Petty concert when she was in 8th grade.

"My mom wanted a picture or something and he was really rude about it," Stonionis said. "He said something like, 'Yeah we can get pictures, just get it over fast and make sure no one sees.' "

With the extensive primary coverage, Stonionis said she hasn't been paying attention to the elections.

"It's just gotten so run down, so I'm going to pick it up again closer to September and October," she said. "It just got to be too much with the whole Democrat vs. Democrat thing."
