What is the most interesting thing you’ve learned so far this year, in or out of class?
Tyler Aug , a film studies junior, said he’s learned through experience about the challenges of being a transfer student.
“You lose a little bit along the way,” he said, referring to different schools having different credit requirements.
To fulfill the University’s language requirement, Aug is taking Finnish, because that was one of the few available choices when he registered.
He also said it can be tough to be confident in the choice to study a particular topic because it’s hard to know if you really like something until you’ve done all the work it takes to get a job or go to graduate school.
