Network

OK, Networkia, this is the last time I’m going to address this issue. Network is not, not NOT a sexist. Whether it’s sexy little co-ed bunnies, fugly women’s studies majors, CSOM douchers or those tools on the football team, you’re all equal in the eyes of Network. You all belong in the same place in life: bowing before the greatness that is the Almighty Network.
And kudos to the great networkians out there, trying to put those crazies in their place. Honestly, Network doesn’t have the TIME to respond to foolish little college students whose daddies didn’t love them enough, but evidently somebody’s got to do it. Like this good chap, Laharl, he seems to have his head on straight:
To be honest, I'm very disappointed that someone would try to use this as grounds for a debate on gender. Not only does Network's discussion have next to nothing to do with gender as I have proven, but the fact that someone would use it as a staging ground actually works against the movement for the elimination of sexism! By jumping on every little thing that looks like sexism, you devalue your own cause by making the movement look radical. While sexism clearly still exists, to try to make Network’s comments out to be sexist is juvenile. I would suggest that you reread the article again, and actually LISTEN to what Network is saying instead of stopping at “A-- slapped” and writing a letter.
Lastly! Since it is not sexist as I've demonstrated, it is clearly not hate speech, and is therefore completely within Network's rights of free speech, just as you have the right to be offended by it, even if your feeling of being offended is illegitimately founded.
My name is Laharl and knowledge is power.

Ciao Network. Thanks for posing my b----fest about the dumb twit, Kara. It definitely needed to be said, and it even sparked conversations in my Italian class. Apparently I'm not the only one that thinks Kara is a dumb *w*itch with ZERO advise than anyone actually pays attention to. Today's article a la Kara was even dumber than the one about the men on campus. Hey everyone. Let's write an article about someone that doesn't even go to the U, someone that no one has even heard of? That will certainly inspire the Uggs-wearing sorority skanks to stop wearing the SAME DAMN North Face jackets with their Greek letters on them ALL THE TIME. Net: But they’re, like, so fashionable? And they match like, really really well with like, everything. Right … Oh. And of course we all want to start dressing like an 8-year-old … duh Kara. Plus, is this 8-year-old in college? Is he trying to pay rent/cable/electric on minimum wage? Didn't think so. Not that I earn minimum wage, because I don't, and I work too hard, and can afford these things, but I certainly know a lot of people that can't. Especially during these times. Wow … I made a recession reference. Puke.
Granted, I'm sure Kara never has to worry about this, as I'm sure the limit on Daddy's credit card just keeps going higher and higher, especially at the rate she buys clothes. Who else reads her column?
