Climategate heats up

I recently noticed The Minnesota Daily editorial cartoon lampooning Rep. Michele Bachmann. I also know your wonderful publication is dedicated to fairness in journalism, and I am expecting a big juicy article on the recent leak of e-mails from the University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit. If you are unaware of what I am talking about, simply Google âÄúglobal warming fraud.âÄù What has been exposed in the field of anthropogenic (due to human activity) global warming? In case you couldnâÄôt figure it out for yourself, the evidence supporting anthropogenic global warming is overrun with fraud. These researchers had the benefit of billions of dollars of taxpayer money to support fraudulent methods. If justice prevails, those in charge of the hoax will be punished as criminals. There is some question as to the means used to obtain the leaked e-mails. It may have been a hacker or a whistle blower from the inside; it seems unclear at this point. All we do know is the truth has been exposed. As British libertarian James Delingpole puts it, here are some tasters of the leaked e-mails. Manipulation of evidence: âÄúIâÄôve just completed MikeâÄôs nature trick of adding in the real temps for each series for the last 20 years and from 1961 to hide the decline.âÄù Private doubts about the world heating up: âÄúThe fact is that we canâÄôt account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we canâÄôt.âÄù Suppression of evidence: âÄúCan you delete any e-mails you may have had with Keith re AR4?âÄù I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. The climate of our planet is in the hands of a power much greater than the power of humans. If we want it to be hot tomorrow we cannot make that happen. If we want it to snow tomorrow we cannot make that happen. The fraud and conspiracy in the field of anthropogenic global warming has been revealed, and those responsible for knowingly committing fraud at the expense of taxpayers should be punished.
