In the midst of the largest government shutdown in state history, Gov. Mark Dayton will speak at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs Thursday morning.
Dayton will take the stage of Cowles Auditorium at 10 a.m. Thursday to speak to and answer questions from Humphrey School alumni. His stop on campus is the latest in a tour around the state that began earlier this week, in which he has presented his case in the budget impasse between himself and the Republican-controlled Legislature.
When Dayton begins his speech, the shutdown will have entered its second week.
Contrary to prior reports, The Minnesota Daily will not be streaming the event live. Check back to mndaily.com for the updated story.
