The Minnesota Student Association and the Graduate and Professional Student Association are holding their first meetings tonight for the school semester during which they will focus on changes, budget and assignments for the upcoming semester.
GAPSA will focus on platforms and themes, like the inclusion of the University of Minnesota, Duluth campus representatives through the Interactive TV that will be used in Hubert H. Humphrey Hall.
GAPSA will also break up of committee members to meet and discuss with the chairs of the committees before regrouping. GAPSA President Brittany Edwards said that this new feature of the meeting will help “cover more ground.”
MSA will talk about updates to committees and the Board of Regents, as well as electing five new adjunct members. It will also discuss its budget information and end with a summary of the Association of Big Ten Students Summer Conference at the University of Iowa.
Both MSA and GAPSA will update members on any developments from the summer.
UMN students have traveled to Florida colleges to collaborate with students on various projects.
When UMN students plan for a vacation, having trip cancellation travel insurance is a worthwhile commodity to check out.
