The Minnesota Daily is an entirely student produced and managed newspaper serving the University of Minnesota campus and surrounding community. The paper is published Monday through Thursday in print during the fall and spring semesters, and Wednesdays during the summer semester. Content is also published on our website daily. The organization acts as a training institution to University of Minnesota Students giving them hands on training in areas such as journalism, multimedia, photography, finance, marketing, human resources, information systems, and more.
The organization is a 501 (c) non-profit corporation, but classified as a student organization. The organization trains over 250 employees each year, is headed by the three Office of Publisher members, and governed by a Board of Directors.
