Emerging local designers and models displayed their work at Envision’s Spring 2015 semi-annual fashion show on Saturday in the lobby of downtown Minneapolis’ Orchestra Hall.

Ten Twin Cities designers and boutiques presented their collections for the upcoming season. Local hair and makeup artists styled the models.

In collaboration with Ignite Model Management, Public Functionary and V2 Nightlife, the glamorous event melded fashion, music and art.

While this season’s hottest looks walked the runway, the crowd represented the crème de la crème of the Twin Cities fashion scene. Here are a few of the standout attendees:

Tricia Khutoretsky –36, curator at Public Functionary

What are you wearing?

BCBG dress, Target shoes, handmade necklace

Describe your sense of style:

It’s usually minimal and classic. I go for all black looks with a statement necklace. I like to be flowy in the summer and layered in the winter.

Top trend for spring:

I love that flats are coming in. Even though I’m [5 feet, 9 inches], I still wear heels because there are so many great shoes out there, but flats are just so comfortable.

Favorite part of the Twin Cities fashion scene:

The collaboration. There is a lot of support between designers. They all share resources.

Lottie Anderson – 26, art director

What are you wearing?

One-piece bathing suit from June Resale, Helmut Lang blazer, Theory skirt, Jimmy Choo shoes

Describe your sense of style:

Lots of black all the time.

Top trend for spring:

I don’t abide by trends; they come and go, and that’s why I stick to black. I believe in style over trends.

Favorite part of the Twin Cities fashion scene:

It’s just a really close community — everyone encourages one another.

Jose Ayala – 20, student at St. Thomas University

What are you wearing?

Club Monaco shorts and shirt, Aldo shoes, Forever21 jacket and bag, Prada glasses

Describe your sense of style:

Chic, clean cut, powerful and a little feminine.

Top trend for spring:

Denim on denim.

Favorite part of the Twin Cities fashion scene:

I’m really excited about the local boutique, Showroom; designers work together instead of competing.

Shola Shodipo – 23, stylist

What are you wearing?

French Connection dress, BCBG shoes, Valentino purse

Describe your sense of style:

I love street wear with a classic twist. I’ll wear a two-piece suit, but pair it with All-Star sneakers.

Top trend for spring:

I am loving the neutral pieces.

Favorite part of the Twin Cities fashion scene:

I like the togetherness; it is a family.
