Local musichead haven Electric Fetus doesn’t stop at mere merchandise when it comes to their investment in the music scene: they’ve made themselves into a venue. I’m talking of course about in-store performances. Homegrown or national,  the Fetus has played host to many a respectable act, oftentimes surrounding the artist’s performance at a larger venue. Artists varying from Phoenix to Eagles of Death Metal to Toki Wright have all played amongst the endless rows of music.  It’s total steal if you take advantage of it because A. the in-stores are always free and B. it’s intimate and gives the opportunity for you to mingle with your rock band idols.  Anyway, there are some cool in-stores approaching. Arrive early if you hope to snag a primo viewing spot.
