If it wasn't a perfect first half, it was close. Minnesota hopped out to a 24-2 lead and cruised the rest of the way, expanding its lead to 50-24 over Wofford at the break.
The Gophers shot 71 percent and held Wofford to 29 percent shooting. Minnesota outrebounded the Terriers 16-9. Minnesota had 10 bench points, Wofford had three. The Gophers also went 6-for-11 from downtown.
Austin Hollins and Oto Osenieks lead the Gophers in scoring through 20 minutes with 12 a piece. Osenieks also has five rebounds.
