The Chris Lofton Story

Men's Basketball
Talk about an inspirational story that, at the same time, puts things in perspective.

Chris Lofton, who just completed his senior season at Tennessee this March, played all year long after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. After keeping his cancer a secret for over a year, Lofton made his illness public by telling ESPN.com's Chris Low. I recommend you read it by clicking here.

I've always been a big Tennessee fan since Bruce Pearl became a Volunteer because I went to high school with Bruce's son Steve, but after reading this one, I'm not only a fan of Tennessee because of the Pearl family, but because of the character displayed by Lofton this season.
