No house party tonight? Here's some other good places to celebrate Hallows Eve.

Big Hair ManiaThe Varisty theater is just a hop and a skip from most freshman dorms and all those other living arrangments that us upperclassmen have since made. It's also only one block from the liquor store. That means that its Big Hair Mania bash just might be the most convenient way to have a weird-good time tonight. Local stylists will be showing off their scissoring chops and offering up a hairspray-fest or two for visitors. Moreover, local band Dance Band, one of the funniest acts this campus has produced, will be playing in the background. Doors open at 8.$35.  All proceeds go to charity. Severs Corn MazeLet me live vicariously through you by going to a corn maze. There's nothing I'd rather do than attempt to use my best lab-mouse like navigation skills in the wild in a slightly inebriated condition, but I don't have a car, so I can't. This year, they also have sand art, a giant slide, and a pumpkin slinger, whatever that is. You'll have to go on Saturday though, 'cause those who run the maze are probably at their own respective parties/handing out candy to chittlin's tonight. 11 AM - 6 PM $11 Triple RockThe Triple Rock is featuring a slaggly slew of cover bands tonight, and if you love Soundgarden or the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, you might just get a show that resembles them. Whoo hoo. And hey, a night at the Triple Rock is always a good time. $8 21+8:00 p.m.
