Lend your ears and listen to a calvalcade of Minnesota musicians cover Beatles tunes. The Minnesota Beatle Project Volume 3 goes on sale Tuesday, December 6th. All proceeds benefit Minneapolis public schools so in this case you can buy love (in the form of music and art education). The album presented by 89.3 The Current and Vega Productions includes up-and-comers Dark Dark Dark and the4onthefloor as well as regulars to these parts, Cloud Cult and Tapes 'n Tapes.

Come together and check out the CD release party before you're sixty-four. The party at First Avenue on Thursday, December 8th, in conjunction with Curtiss A's annual tribute to John Lennon, includes music from White Light Riot, Dark Dark Dark and Her Choir and Me and My Arrow. Also, stop by the Electric Fetus Tuesday, December 6th for a free performance from the4onthfloor at 7:00 p.m.
