New Music from Phil Elverum

The perpetually moody and dynamic Phil Elverum is nothing if not prolific: under his moniker Mount Eerie (and before that, The Microphones), he has released an endless stream of woodsy psych-folk since the mid-90's. But he's remained relatively quiet since his last release, 2009's black-metal-inspired "Wind's Poem."

"Clear Moon" will be released May 22, as TinyMixTapes reports. Elverum will tour Europone in March and April, and a second album, "Ocean Roar," will be released later this year.
