Annie Clark of St. Vincent finally announced a long-in-the-works collaborative album with David Byrne this morning. The album is called "Love This Giant" and the accomonying tour will kick off here in Minneapolis at the State Theater. What a great announcment that was! Happy Flag day to us all.
But in the harsh light of the afternoon, Clark also canceled her performance at tomorrow's WITS taping in St. Paul due to travel issues. John Moe will still chat with comedian and director Bobcat Goldthwait but St. Vincent has been replaced at the last minute by Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum and former Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page.
