Madia kicks off candidate forums

Minnesota's 3rd Congressional District race is one of the most interesting and contested races in the country. Today, DFL candidate Ashwin Madia will be on campus, kicking off a series of forums at the Humphrey Institute with the candidates.

Madia is a former MSA President and an Iraq War veteran. His challangers in the the race include Republican Erik Paulsen and Independent David Dillon, both of whom will be appearing on campus this week. The three are vying for the open seat of Rep. Jim Ramstad.
