The Central Corridor light-rail line received a $106.7 million funding boost Wednesday.
The Counties Transit Improvement Board, a regional group that helps advance and invest in transit, awarded the project its third of four grants. The board promised to pay 30 percent of the capital costs for the light-rail line.
