According to the blog Daily Kos, there were some problems with voting machines in Philadelphia.
The blog says that if you voted for Obama on the ticket, and then chose to vote for the straight democratic ticket, it cancels out the Obama vote.

McCain takes three states projected to be red and grabs 45 electoral votes to add to his total, according to MSNBC.
Obama also takes Iowa.
That puts Obama's lead at 207-135 in the electoral vote.

McCain takes West Virginia, but Obama taking Ohio and New Mexico could have propelled him to the presidency.
Obama currently has 200 electoral votes. To win the presidency, a candidate needs 270 electoral votes.

Obama is projected to win Ohio, giving him a lead on the election. He also won New Mexico, which was a red state in 2004.
Ohio is one of the key battleground states.
McCain took Louisiana.
Obama now leads the electoral vote 200-85.

11:20Madia walked in just minutes before Obama took the stage, and both men recieved a thunderous applause from the crowd. There were multiple people crying during Obama's speech. With about 60 percent of votes reported, Madia trails by four percent. Madia has not addressed the crowd yet.
