Upcoming road closures near the U

During the next two weeks, two road closures will be taking place near the University.

The Department of Transportation announced the Huron Boulevard Ramp from westbound I-94 will be closed from Sunday, April 22 until Wednesday, May 2. Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to find alternative routes.

Another closure taking place is 17^th Avenue between University Avenue and 4^th Street. The closure will be from Monday, April 23 until Thursday, April 26. Crews will be installing a tower crane for the construction of the Fourth Street Housing and Dining Facility. Oak Street will be the designated tour during the closure.
