A pickup truck drove into a bar in Little Canada Wednesday, injuring five people, the Star Tribune reported.
A 51-year-old woman crashed the truck into Gordie’s Place around 1:30 p.m., knocking out a utility pole, and pinned four people against the bar.
The driver and five others were taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, according to Randy Gustafson the Ramsey Country sheriff’s office spokesman.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to Gustafson.
"However, initial indications are [that] medical reasons appear to be contributing factors to the cause of the crash," Gustafson said.
The driver apparently had a diabetic reaction before crashing into the bar, according to the Pioneer Press.
