The prosecution of former Penn State University assistant football coach could conclude by Friday, according to Pennsylvania judge John Cleland.
Sandusky, who was charged with 52 counts of child rape, watched three of the victims take the stand and say they were sexually assaulted by him. A janitor and father of a then-graduate assistant also testified saying they saw Sandusky in the shower with boys, according to CNN.
One of the victims discussed how he tried to get as far away from Sandusky in the shower, but he followed him into the corner. After Sandusky made sexual contact with the victim, he ran out of the shower and never spoke to the coach again.
Janitor Ronald Petrosky testified that his coworker saw Sandusky in the shower with a boy and was shocked at what he saw, according to ABC News.
According to Petrosky, fellow janitor Jim Calhoun told him, "Buck, I just witnessed something in there I'll never forget the rest of my life. That man that just left, he had that boy against the shower wallicking on his privates."
On Tuesday, former graduate assistant Mike McQueary said he saw Sandusky conducting anal sex on a young boy. McQueary told authorities about the incident, but nothing came of it.
Sandusky has maintained his innocence throughout the trial, claiming the victims have changed their stories and are not credible.
"A lot of people lied," defense lawyer Joe Amendola said. Some of the alleged victims have civil attorneys, he noted, calling that unusual, according to CNN.
Half of the jury has ties to Penn State, with former professors and graduates among the 16 jury members and alternates, CNN reported.
