Comedy Central announced Wednesday it has extended contracts with Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
The new deals keep Stewart, host of The Daily Show, through the middle of 2015, and Colbert, host of The Colbert Report, through the end of 2014, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Daily Show is the top-rated late night show among younger viewers, averaging 1.4 million viewers between ages 18-49.
Though Daniel Tosh's Tosh.o is the comedy network's highest rated show, both Stewart and Colbert have posted year-over-year ratings gains in the demo. The new deals come as both shows have already ramped up this season's Indecision 2012 presidential campaign coverage, the Reporter said.
