The search to replace College of Liberal Arts Dean James Parente intensified Thursday with the announcement of a search committee.
College of Design Dean Tom Fisher will be the committee chair and lead a national search to replace the outgoing University of Minnesota administrator, Provost Karen Hanson said in an email to students on Thursday.
The committee will meet for the first time in a few weeks, Hanson said, and plans to hold public interviews in fall.
Hanson said the committee, which is made up of students, University administrators, professors and department heads, aims to "seek broad input from key stakeholders in CLA and beyond."
