David Droullard boasts his evening wear during the Mr. Superblock contest at Coffman Theatre on Tueseday night.  The eventwas sponsored by Students Today Leaders Forever.

Today photographer Jenn Whalen and I shot a volley ball sportrait (a sports portrait), and we decided to try something a little bit different: refracting the players through water.

Here is the final result: 

1/250th, f/5, ISO 100 with a single strobe, to the right.

The Michigan Wolverines won against the Gophers to win the sought after jug at the Metrodome on Saturday, Nov. 8.

The Gopher Swim Team beat Iowa on Saturday night. This was my first time photographing swimming, and so far, it's my favorite sport to photograph.
