When Republican Governor Tim Pawlenty appeared on The Daily Show June 10, he posited that higher education should become iCollege (hip, eh?), so students don't have to listen to a "boring person drone on about Econ 101 or Spanish 101." (It's not like he has the professors and TAs in his pockets, so they're an obvious target for dimunation). The idea properly drew comical face contortions from Jon Stewart. Today, The Star Tribune editorialized about Pawlenty's idea, calling it, we think correctly, "out of focus."

If you haven't checked it out, the extended interview is worth watching.
