Minnesota women's basketball tops Minnesota State Moorhead

The final exhibition game was a promising one for the Gophers, as Minnesota put up 75 points en route to a 75-49.

More promising maybe, is the fact that Emily Fox didn't play.

Fox sat out to rest her foot, and the freshmen and Kay Sylva stepped up

Sylva led the Gophers with 14 points, and added 5 offensive rebounds.

Kiara Buford added 11 points from the guard position, while dishing out 5 assists.

Jackie Voigt led the freshmen with 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Brianna Mastey looked more comfortable, scoring 11 points as well.

Minnesota used a four-out offense, spreading the ball around and opening up the floor. The Gophers could see lots of success offensively if the personnel can fit into this gameplan.
