Gopher men's basketball to play Miami in Big Ten-ACC Challenge

The Minnesota men's basketball team will face Miami in the 11th annual Big Ten-ACC Challenge.

To be broadcast on ESPNU, the game will be played December 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Coral Gables, Fla., at BankUnited Center.

This will be the first matchup between the two schools, but Minnesota coach Tubby Smith is familiar with the Hurricanes, having beaten them twice while with Kentucky.

The Gophers hope to continue their recent success in the challenge, having beat Virginia to improve their record in the yearly matchup to 4-6.

Other games of interest in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge include Wake Forest at Purdue, Illinois at Clemson, Florida State at Ohio State and Duke at Wisconsin.
