Former Texas Tech coach Mike Leach addressed the vacant head coaching position at Minnesota just a day after athletics director Joel Maturi fired Tim Brewster Sunday.
The winningest coach in Red Raiders history said on his Sirius radio program, "I'm in a position to listen to anybody."
Leach was fired at Texas Tech amid allegations of misconduct toward an injured player. A lawsuit is pending.
"I haven't given it much thought," Leach said about the Minnesota gig. "But it's a good program, it's in the Big Ten."
In nine seasons with Texas Tech, Leach compiled a record of 84-43 and earned bowl invitations every year.
