Sophomores Turner Eckstrom and Maggie Keefer have both been named Big Ten Diver of the Week after they each posted wins in two events against Wisconsin this past weekend.
Eckstrom posted NCAA Zone qualifying marks in the 1-meter (334.35) and in the 3-meter (357.60). This is the first time he has been bestowed with this honor, and the first time a diver from the men's team has been named Big Ten Diver of the Week since Drew Brown (Nov. 3, 2009).
Keefer, who was named Co-Diver of the Week alongside Indiana's Laura Ryan, won the 1-meter (315.30) and 3-meter (301.80) events against Wisconsin. Keefer has won the 1-meter event in all four meets this season, posting zone qualifying marks each time. This is the third time this season Keefer has been named Diver of the Week, and the fourth time in her career.
