The Golf Coaches Association of America named Gophers golfer Erik Van Rooyen to the PING All-Region team.
The junior finished in a tie for 19th place at the NCAA Ann Arbor regional for Minnesota. The South Africa native has led the team all season with the lowest stroke averages. His 72.45 average ranks ninth-lowest in Gophers history.
This is Van Rooyen's second consecutive selection and NCAA regional appearance.
A total of 155 golfers from six different regions also earned the honor.
