Gophers sophomore point guard Rachel Banham was named Co-Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday.
She averaged 20.7 points, six rebounds and six assists in leading Minnesota to wins over Denver, Missouri-Kansas City and Robert Morris.
In perhaps her most impressive performance this season, Banham made five three-pointers and scored 29 points in the win over UMKC on Friday. She shot 11-for-17 from the floor and added seven rebounds and five assists.
This is Banham's second-career player of the week honor.
