Junior forward Amanda Kessel earned the WCHA Offensive Player of the Week award Wednesday for the second consecutive week.
Kessel tallied seven points against Minnesota State-Mankato last weekend, including a hat trick in Friday's 8-1 win. In Saturday's 6-0 victory, Kessel also broke the 200 career points milestone, becoming the 24th player in NCAA history and sixth in Gophers history to do so.
This is Kessel's fourth award this season and eighth of her career.
The NCAA's leading scorer will lead the team at Wisconsin on Friday and Saturday.
