Corrections:An article on Page 3 of Tuesday’s Daily, “Clinic focuses on treating student-athletes’ ailments,” contained an error. Moira Novak, director of athletics medicine, said, “A general student that gets strep throat can lounge around in bed for a couple of days, we don’t necessarily have that luxury.”

Corrections:A sentence ran incorrectly in Thursday’s “Former student files appeal against U.” It should have stated that Radu Rasidescu claimed astronomy professor Liliya Williams and director of graduate studies Evan Skillman refused to sign his degree program form and “stole” it.

Corrections:The Page 1B article “An ‘age of elegance’ ” in Thursday’s Minnesota Daily contained an error. Boris Pasternak is the author of “Doctor Zhivago” and was a friend of Anna Akhmatova.

Corrections:A Page 4B column, “When an interview and a band fall through,” in Oct. 6’s Minnesota Daily needs clarification. Columnist Frederic Hanson and the lead singer of the band had a scheduled interview, as referred to in the column. However, the columnist missed the interview through no fault of the band’s. When the columnist attempted to reach the lead singer later, he was no longer available for an interview.

Corrections:An article on Page 1 of the Oct. 4 Minnesota Daily, “Groups unite to focus on accessibility at the U,” incorrectly attributed a quote. Alondra Espejel said, “We all have different fronts and different struggles. But we (can combine our efforts) to move forward and stop spinning our wheels.”

Corrections:A Page 1 article, “Grant to advance U soybean research,” in Sept. 27’s Daily incorrectly stated how much biodiesel blend is required in nearly all diesel fuel in the state. The state Legislature requires nearly all diesel fuel in the state to contain 2 percent biodiesel blend.
