Dr. Jon Grant, a psychiatrist at Fairview-University Medical Center, along with Dr. Suck Won Kim, are experimenting with the drug Naltrexone to help control the temptations of kleptomaniacs. Currently, Naltrexone is used to control alcoholics' drinking urges.
