Since it's on the West Bank, and conveniently located for students at Humphrey, Carlson, and the law school, this place tends to be packed with grad students. It's a large and amazing bar complex, and the prices aren't too bad. People tend to say "Grandma's" to cover the whole bar complex, but then when you look for your friends it's like, oops, they're somewhere else in the same bar complex. The place is packed on weekends during the school year, and even on Thursday nights, so if you love a big crowd, this is the place to go on the West Bank. Pool tables, dance floor in the bar complex makes this kind of a pick-up joint, but since it's so full of grad students almost everybody you meet will be married or engaged. If you're trying to hook up with a hottie, stick to Blarney's on the other side of campus.
