Human Resources Representative
Responsibilities
Responsible for entering employment data (new hire information, transfers, terminations, address changes, etc.) into Employee Editor and ADP databases.
Assist with file maintenance.
Provide support for our centralized placement process (job postings, reference checks, notification letters, etc.).
Conduct new employee orientations.
Assist HR Manager in conducting training as needed for employees and supervisors.
Order supplies as needed for all departments.
Responsible for maintenance and care of company vehicle.
Respond to staff needs, requests, and questions.
Aid in the coordination of the Daily’s performance management process.
Complete special projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications
Ability to comfortably deal with applicants, employees and management.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to organize/prioritize workload and follow detailed processes.
Flexibility to handle multiple tasks effective.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to provide quality service.
Basic data entry/computer skills.
An expresses interest in the human resources field is preferred.
Must be a University of Minnesota student.
Essential Functions
Must have the ability to hear and speak English clearly.
Frequently requires the ability to visually analyze documents.
Frequently requires repetitive finger motion and finger dexterity.
May require verbal intelligence to convey ideas and knowledge to staff.
