Cartoonist

Responsibilities

The Daily is seeking a talented, artistic and civically-interested editorial cartoonist to produce content for the newspaper and website.

Qualifications

Interested candidates must demonstrate the ability to editorialize on relevant issues to the University community, city, state and nation in an artistic and visually stimulating way.

Candidates must demonstrate an interest and active following of news and current events.

Successful applicants will have the ability to apply their knowledge of the news to their cartoons by taking a stance or otherwise making a point about the issue at hand.

Applicant must be a University of Minnesota student.

The Cartoonist is paid a weekly stipend. Please apply and submit illustration samples below.
