A&E Reporter Intern
Hours: 10 HPW
Responsibilities
Responsible for producing one story or more per week.
Works directly with the A&E Editor to improve basic reporting, writing and critical skills.
Participate in ongoing training opportunities within the organization.
Qualifications
Must have strong interest in arts reporting and criticism and general newspaper production.
Must be a University of Minnesota student.
Essential Functions
Must have the ability to hear, speak and write English clearly.
Regularly requires the ability to visually analyze newspaper content.
Frequently requires verbal intelligence to convey ideas and knowledge to the editor and other reporters.
Frequently requires repetitive finger motion and finger dexterity.
May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions while obtaining information for a story.
Frequently requires nighttime work.
