Customer Service Representative

Hours: 10-20 HPW Supervisor: Classifieds Sales Manager
Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors on the phone and in person, while directing phone calls and walk-ins.
  • Schedule classified lineage ads.
  • Maintain account records.
  • Import and export ads from online classifieds listing page.
  • Responsible for achieving sales quotas.
  • Stamp outgoing and distribute incoming mail.
  • Responsible for collections.
  • Perform special duties as directed by the Sales Manager or HR Manager.

  • Qualifications
  • Sales and customer service experience is desired.
  • Attention to detail and good organization skills are essential.
  • Must be highly motivated and possess great interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance are preferred.
  • Prefer a one year commitment.
  • Must be a current University of Minnesota student.
  • **We are currently seeking applicants with availability on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS only. **
    Essential Functions
  • Must have the ability to hear and speak English clearly.
  • Regularly requires verbal intelligence when assisting customers.
  • Regularly requires repetitive finger motions and finger dexterity when using the computer.
  • Frequently requires the ability to visually analyze advertisements and contracts.
