Reporter Intern

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for producing one story or more per week and covering beats while Staff Reporters work on projects.
  • Works directly with the Associate Editor to improve basic reporting and writing skills.
  • Use basic Internet story forms, like the blog, and basic HTML.
  • Assists Staff Reporters.
  • This is a training position. All interns are expected to participate in on-going training at the Daily.

  • Must have strong interest in news and story production.
  • Must be a University of Minnesota student.
