Production

Proof requests for print ads must be made at least five working days before publication. All text and graphics/logos must be included in the advertisement at this time. Requests for online video box ads may require additional time.

The deadline to change ad copy is 1:00 p.m., one business day prior to its publication.

The deadline to cancel an ad is 2:00 p.m., one business day prior to its publication.

Although Production and Creative are complimentary services, deadlines are strongly enforced. Failure to meet deadlines will result in late charges.

Late Charges

Past e-mail deadline: $1.00 per inch, $10.00 minimum

Past ad schedule deadline: $1.00 per inch, $10.00 minimum

Past ad copy deadline: $2.00 per inch, $20.00 minimum

Past cancellation deadline: $3.00 per inch, $20.00 minimum

Past hard copy deadline: $1.00 per inch, $10.00 minimum

Past copy change deadline: $5.00+ per inch

Electronic Ads

The production department can use an electronic version of your ad to run in our publication. We accept ads in PDF, TIFF, PSD, JPG, and EPS formats. We do not accept ads in Microsoft PowerPoint or Word formats.

Ads must be sent at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Some programs export at a resolution of 72 dpi. While this is an acceptable resolution for screen display, it is unacceptable for print production.

Our preferred method of receiving your ad is as an e-mail attachment sent to your account executive. On the event that you need to send an ad directly to our Advertising Production Department, use the ads@mndaily.com address.

Files can be directly imported into our system from a CD, DVD, or portable hard drive.

All ads must be sent as the exact size they are scheduled as. Failure to comply will result in your ad being shrunk or enlarged to fit the reserved space. We can not be held responsible for ad quality if the ad size has to be changed.
