Proofs are due at least five working days prior to publication. Due to special issue requirements, space reservations and proof deadlines are subject to change.

All major credit cards are accepted.

The minimum billing charge is $60.

The maximum billing charge is $200.

Linage ads are allowed 35 to 37 characters per line. This includes letters, spaces, and punctuation. Ads must be at least two lines.

Only refunds more than $10 are mailed.

Eligibility for a refund expires 30 days after the expiration of the ad.

Ads placed from outside 50 miles of the Twin Cities must be prepaid.

The Minnesota Daily is only responsible for the accuracy of the first day's insertion.

The Minnesota Daily has the right to classify ads accordingly.

The Minnesota Daily offers advertisers the opportunity to advertise on our distribution racks. Space is available on more than 200 sites throughout the East Bank, West Bank, and St. Paul campus areas. Sites are sold on a per-semester basis. The advertisements are 9 by 13 inches or 15 by 8 inches, and are displayed on a black wire rack behind a glass covering. This inexpensive complement to print advertising allows your organization to reach over 85 percent of the students who pick up an issue of The Minnesota Daily on campus. Contact your account executive for more information and available sites.


There is no added commission to the rate given below.

A sample of the insert must be provided to the Director of Sales two weeks prior to distribution for approval.

Inserts must be shipped to the printer and arrive at least one week prior to distribution.

Inserts must be recyclable according to the University of Minnesota Recycling Program.
