Community members celebrate the Latino tradition of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in South Minneapolis on Sunday, Nov. 1. The procession began at Mercado Central on East Lake Street and ended at el Colegio, a charter school on Bloomington Ave. The celebration included Aztec dancing, traditional foods and an exhibit of student and community altars, offerings to honor the dead souls.

A unique nativity scene on display at Wescott Station antique shop in St. Paul. Kurt Wescott says that the nativity scene, which takes more than six hours to put up, is a local attraction during the holiday season. His mother Rosalie Wescott has been arranging the scene for more than 12 years.
