Big Ten tournament bust

The Gophers fell to Northwestern and exited the Big Ten tournament after a strong second half -- including a 24-6 run -- put the Wildcats on top, 75-65. The Thursday afternoon loss marks the first time that the Gophers have failed to win an opening-round game in the Big Ten tournament under coach Tubby Smith.
