CITY ISSUES In his city budget proposal, Mayor R.T. Rybak proposed a $19 million cut from the city’s $371 million general fund. Total spending would drop $100 million to $1.31 billion. Every city department will sustain a cut, but police, fire, and public works departments will see the smallest cuts proportionally. Do you support Rybak’s plans to cut spending to this budget?
