Crime scarce during weekend

A cinderblock was thrown through the rear windshield of a parked vehicle.

Crime on and around the University of Minnesota campus was sparse once again last weekend.

A vehicle was stolen from the Oak Street Ramp on Saturday, according to a University of Minnesota Police Department report.

There is video footage of the vehicle leaving the ramp, but the driver was not identifiable, Lt. Troy Buhta said.

A cinderblock was thrown through the rear windshield of a vehicle in Southeast Como between 6 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a Minneapolis police report.
