Grocery delivery service Instacart will now be used in the Twin Cities.
According to Star Tribune the company will deliver for several stores, including Cub Foods, as well as other small grocers. Target Corporation plans to use two of its stores to test the deliveries.
The Marin Independent Journal reported Instacart works with Whole Foods Market, Costco and Petco.
This service delivers in the Minneapolis metro area, which includes Dinkytown, and University of Minnesota campus reports KSTP.
University of Minnesota students have had the opportunity to have groceries delivered using Gopher Grocery, but Instacart allows them to decide which stores their groceries come from.
Instacart uses part-time personal shoppers to pick items from the store and deliver them to costumers- a similar concept to the ride service Uber, wrote the Star Tribune.
