Reacting to the United States Department of Justice’s Countering Violent Extremism program, Islam-affiliated student groups hosted outreach events on campus last week to combat stereotypes about Muslims and Islam.
In the past, we have urged the DOJ to respect Muslim communities while fighting terror. Now, we repeat that message, and we commend the University’s student groups for their thoughtful outreach programs.
