I appreciated the May 6 guest column “Being good on a bad day” by Raisa Chowdhury of the Daily Northwestern.
Much of her advice would likely seem common sense to most readers. However, her writing style helped to make me pause, ponder and reflect on this wisdom, such as: “Especially when we are in a situation where we may be exposed to having frequent bad days, we need to manage our emotions and not let them manage us.”
It’s a timely piece for students who are busy studying for tests and good advice for everyone.
