Minneapolis - It was an exciting day for Gophers volleyball head coach Hugh McCutcheon as he added a talented player to the 2014 volleyball roster. That players is 6'3" middle blocker Molly Lohman of Mankato West High School."Molly is a wonderful addition to our program," McCutcheon said in a release. "We could not be happier that she's chosen to study and compete here at the University of Minnesota. She is a talented and driven volleyball athlete and we look forward to working with her in 2014 and beyond."
Minneapolis - The men's and women's swim and dive teams have two talented divers according to weekly award release by the Big Ten Conference.For the men's team, sophomore Dylan Zoe took home Big Ten Diver of the Week. Zoe won both the one meter and three meter events this past weekend against North Dakota. Zoe scored 324.90 and 348.35 on those dives, respectively. This marks Zoe's first career Diver of the Week award.

Gophers men's hockey freshman forward Hudson Fasching earned the Big Ten conference's Third Star on Tuesday for his performance at the split series on the road at Notre Dame.Fasching recorded two goals and an assist last weekend.
